Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Saira Kurjee graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Forensics and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Kurjee currently specializes in Pediatric Myopia Management, Retinal Eye Disease, Dry Eye, and Computer Vision Syndrome. She also offers services for routine eye exams, specialty contact lens fittings, and LASIK and Cataract evaluations.
When not working, Dr. Kurjee enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and practicing yoga. She's a total health nut and thrives on alternative medicine.
Therapeutic Optometrist - Optometric Glaucoma Specialist
Dr. Ahmad Laham grew up in Houston, TX with aspirations of giving back and providing eye care for his community. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2017 at the University of Houston, majoring in Biology and Sociology and graduating with high honors. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry with his doctorate degree in Optometry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and American Optometric Association (AOA).
Dr. Laham is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He has trained at the Houston Eye Associates clinic under several leading ophthalmologists specializing in ocular diseases, pediatrics, and strabismus surgeries. He also trained at the Heights Community Clinic Eye Center providing primary and urgent eye care. At the University of Houston Eye Clinic, he focused on eye care for specialty needs and pediatrics, as well as trained with specialty soft and rigid contacts.
Outside the office, Dr. Laham enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and learning about current/ upcoming infrastructure and developmental projects around the Houston area.

Dr. Betty Cuchilla-Hanna was born in El Salvador, but moved to Houston at the age of 9 and considers it her hometown. She is a University of Houston graduate, first earning her B.S. in Food Science & Nutrition and then her doctorate at UHCO. She is fluent in Spanish, has been published in Optometry: Journal of the AOA, and has a special interest in educating patients on nutrition and ocular health. Outside of work, Dr. Hanna enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
